Daily Duties at Neutraceutical Corp:

Responsible for all environmental, health, safety regulatory matters of the Parent Corporation and 9 manufacturing divisions. Tested all waste streams for hazardous waste identification. Obtained RCRA generator certificate for facility. Managed the worker’s compensation program. Developed and maintain a relationship with local occupational medical clinic and implemented and oversaw the restricted/alternate duty program to reduce lost work time and worker’s compensation costs. Arranged alternate transportation program for injured employees. * Reduced worker’s compensation insurance premium by 33% and reportable accidents by 75% within first two years. * Built safety program from ground up. Started a steering committee and multiple safety committees. Directed hiring of additional full-time safety staff. * Provided safety oversight for all trades during $7 million conversion of pre-existing army facility into corporate building. Started ISO 9000 and ISO 14000 process while on site to ensure easy transition. * Started forklift and safety program, OSHA compliance classes from nothing.
