Daily Duties at Canyons School District:

• Responsible for coordination of care for medically fragile students in multiple schools; including timely assessment, and medication administration. • Delegation of appropriate tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel. • Designed medication training module and collaborated on the development of various health care training modules for staff. Collaborated with Information Technology department to customize software to meet changing needs. • Collaborating with physicians, parents, teachers and students to ensure students achieve academic success with special healthcare needs. • Manage immunization compliance for multiple schools. • Coordinate communicable disease outbreaks with the State Health Department.
