Responsible for designing and manufacture of counter top Kiosk to be used in bars and pubs. Designed and implemented sourcing strategies aligned with category strategies to reduce 1/3 manufacturing cost. Engineered and built kiosk from scratch to be able to perform required functions. Manage four purchasing assistants. Expedite orders and provide status on open orders. Responsible and accountable for the supply chain management, inventory control and bill of materials (BOM’s) Negotiate prices and review proposals from vendors and enter into contracts within budgetary limitations. Forecast procurement needs Responsible for ensuring that all orders are processed in an accurate and timely manner. Obtain all job related equipment and services at the lowest cost with focus on total value. Obtain manufacturer shipping schedule on all equipment ordered and relay to project team. Resolve any issues that arise in relation to delivery dates, quality, quantity, or cost of purchased goods and services. Negotiating contracts with vendors and manage relationships with them. Liaise with Accounts Payable to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices, as necessary for the business with the vendor. Recommend alternate suppliers where a savings in cost or improved delivery will result.
