• Lead for client’s GTIN project which requires expanding UPC (bar code) from 12 digits to 14 digits, covering 28 applications in a mainframe environment • Responsible for setting up all mainframe platforms, plans, scripts, and cases being remediated • Converting non-compliant data and applications to standards set forth by the UCC and EAN committees utilizing COBOL, MVS, DB2, CICS, VSAM, QSAM, SmartTest, File Manager, and TestDirector. • Authored GTIN Testing Overview, GTIN Test Strategy, Overall Test Plan, and TestDirector. • Overseeing the Clean Management Process for the GTIN project. • Updated the GTIN USS documents to reflect GTIN changes to screens and reporting. • Providing program changes, tested and documented test cases and documented test results using TestDirector • Systems that made programming changes, tested, and migrated into production were: RSAC, PRCS, WIMS, ORDR, and assisted with RSPK. • Currently developing new COBOL/DB2/& CICS programs that will be used in the GTIN Phase II for the vendor re-certification process and data cleanup
