Coordinated with factories for existing production lines. Ensured delivery time and oversaw quality control. Predicted, prevented and resolved upcoming issues related to production. Lead a team of a 4 project managers, with a 6 maximum same-time production run. Built relationships across diverse internal and external suppliers and maintain existing supplier relationships. Consulted start-up companies for global operation, market analysis, and distribution setup. Organize and manage the supply chain to ensure on-time parts availability and product delivery, while contributing to profitability improvement in terms of costs, lead time and inventory reduction, in order to achieve site QCD objectives as well as Project QCD objectives on the Procurement WPs Develop strategies and business plans for the Supply Chain that support company objectives and targets responsible for activities related to the procurement of materials, parts, components, and equipment Manage a talented group of buyers and expediters to accomplish company objectives related to the review and approval of purchases and major contract negotiations involving large dollar amounts. Monitor the cost, schedule and performance aspects of major subcontracts and coordinate purchasing activities with engineering and manufacturing departments to maintain inventories at planned levels. Ensure that materials are available to meet production schedules and/or products are shipped as per marketing schedules. Oversee shipping and receiving, import compliance.
