Daily Duties at Abt Electronics:

To sell to customers via, phone , internet , in person , through live chats, follow up and gather more accounts. typical day- listen and respond to voicemails-generally had 8-10 voicemails when I came to work. Also had 70 emails that I responded to.each morning. I kept a folder and that became my to do list for the day-as I would need to respond to another 10-15 customers about getting their orders scheduled for following up on questions. I averaged 40 new calls per day and there would be another 50 calls on average per day. some calls were meant to do research to get the correct product and availability for them . we had 7 people when i started in phone sales and even though sales volume was a little lower then- whenI left at the end of June, 2013 we had 41 people in phone and internet sales and 195 total salespeople.. the average phone sales person took 12 calls and wrote $ 150,000 per month. My averages were $ 300,000 and 40 calls per day. My responisibilities were not defined to me since I exceeded expectations so I knew that my methods and follow up are part of the keys to my success. my ideals are to learn from yeterday and prove myself today. The sale never ends-you always want referrals, go the extra mile and follow through. My responsilbilities were to gain sales, support the customer , learn about new items, be profitable, maximize the sale and be a contributing member to the team. I had a do whatever it took philospohy. Handled upset customers and turned them around-part of the reason sales continued to climb each year. trained customer service personnel to take care of customers professionally and in a thorough , efficient process. Started a phrase that became the standard for clsoing the sale over the phone. SAles grew from 6% of the business to over 23% of the business in 2012.

Stability for the long haul is not nearly as important as is working in an atmosphere that is charged with a sense of urgency and constant change.
