Manage team of IT professionals whose primary function is support and administration of a Microsoft and VMWare-based environment that spans 19 countries worldwide. Moved disaster recovery facility from South Carolina to Dallas to save operating capital while guaranteeing uptime OLAs with a higher level of bandwidth. This allowed faster synchronization of data, resulting in hot-site capabilities for disaster recovery. Redesign of corporate Active Directory environment, allowing the upgrade of Exchange to current levels and move away from single-label domain. Upgraded ESX server infrastructure from version 3.5 to 5.0. Instituted inventory practices, allowing better tracking of support contracts for MannaTech’s server farm. Reduced overall licensing costs by 30% through elimination of unneeded licensing and renegotiation of enterprise agreements with vendors. Coordinated efforts of Server Infrastructure team with Network infrastructure and security team to eliminate failing incidents on PCI audits. Represent the server team in Change Approval Board, project, and status meetings with executive team.
