Daily Duties at Ef Johnson Technologies:

Managed EF Johnson Procurement inventory, non inventory and MRO for annual revenue of $100M. Supported of 200 employees in all departments located in Texas, Nebraska and Minnesota. Supervised 3 member team. Reviewed buyers performance informally each month and formally every 6 months for status and achievement of formal goals. Delivery measurements were made by the on time deliveries by supplier on a monthly bases. The company goal for on time delivery was 95%, the actual monthly on time delivery was at a rate of 98%. Reviewed buyers performance on an semi-annual bases. Evaluate goals for the coming year and to establish percentages for each goal a the beginning of the review period. Review at the middle of the period to determine where they are on achieving their goals and if changes need to be made. Then at the end of the review period to see what percentage of the goals were achieved and if any goals were not completed. Managed vendor relationships both internal and external customers. Negotiate agreements for pricing, delivery, quality acceptance and payment terms. Agreements provided to Legal Department and Director of Operations for review and approval. If corrections or questions arose I would contact the supplier and negotiate any revisions. Once revisions were approved by Legal a formal agreement was sent to suppler for signature. Reviewed vendors standard cost currently loaded in the EF Johnson Business System annually for company cost roll by Finance. Reviewed each part number listed on a Excel spreadsheet provided by Finance. Had to review all previous Purchase Orders for the year and any approved quotes we have received for new and current part numbers which were on file. Supported internal and external audit questions on selected items requested by these auditors. Measurement on audits questions for purchasing was at a rate of less than one percent per year. Responsible for Infrastructure requirements for third party for equipment the system needs equipment build up and site installations. The sales order dollars ranged from $100K to $1.5M per sales order. I used the internal sales orders for the requirements and worked the deliveries on the stated date requirements for materials needed in house and at the job site. Measurements for delivery was maintained on a Excel spreadsheet with the item part numbers and required dates for each project. The delivery goal for this material was 95% and maintained a monthly average of 97%. Establish source of supply and delivery dates. Review purchase requisitions for accuracy and correct approval level per company delegation of authority. Development of Purchasing Department budget for the fiscal year. Preparation of monthly reports as required. Solid problem solving and analytical skills. excellent decision-making skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Troubleshoot and resolve semi-complex problems. Cross-function team review for supplier management.
