Daily Duties at Cameron:

• Work directly alongside the HR Manager of a 750 employee facility, which is Cameron’s largest domestic manufacturing operation. • Manage salary and hourly employment activities to actively recruit and hire a diverse workforce; assist managers to define position requirements and potential sources of applicants. • Compose offer letters and distribute to potential employees. • Manage and coordinate all pre-employment drug testing and background checks for the entire site. . • Manage the on boarding process, which includes Safety Training, QMS Training and New Hire Orientation, for all new hires • Counsel and communicate with managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and programs. • Create job descriptions and establish salary ranges and job titles. • Conduct candidate pre-employment and employee exit interviews. • Advise and counsel managers in handling difficult or sensitive employee relations issues including reviewing cases of serious violations governing employee conduct; recommending and implementing appropriate actions for conflict resolution, including requisite disciplinary actions. • Perform daily department visits to address outstanding issues and maintain regular communications with the employees. Submit reports to the department managers from these visits. • Maintain HR Quality Report and submit monthly to Drilling Corporate. Also, maintain a HR weekly report that is submitted to the Plant Manager that provides updates on the interviews, current openings, termination cases, workers’ compensation cases and immigration. Submit monthly reports to managers for employees needing safety physicals. • Coordinate the facility newsletter quarterly. • First Aid Certified, Safety Committee Team Member and OSHA 30-Hour trained.
