• Oversaw management of reliable analytical testing and timely reporting raw materials, buffers, and final product, and monitor for Out of specification (OOS), Out of tolerance (OOT), to ensure effective, thorough, and timely laboratory investigations¬ • Planned, coordinated, directed quality control program ensuring continuous production of products • Analyzed statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished products • Achieved 2x new revenue increase in a new product line in the first year, by successfully created and implemented Performance Verification(PV) procedures for all the New ElectraSense instruments(ECD) and scanners at CombiMatrix Corp • Maintained procedures, drafted/revised/reviewed/approved/qualified/transferred of QC test methods and coordinated all aspects of Quality, Training, and Document Control activities • Ensured that the product met the established company standards of quality including reliability, usability and performance • Increased profit by 50% after purchasing new autoloader scanner replacing previous manual scanner • Provided an in-depth technical orientation in implementing, executing and interpreting quality procedures and test methods • Developed and implemented defined and specific standards, methods, and SOP’s for inspecting, testing, and evaluating company products • Daily tested/evaluated the performance of 12K Custom DNA Microarrays chips, analyzed and interpreted data and investigated customer complaints regarding quality • Exercised judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results • Coordinated the creation of material masters, BOMs and routers in the PROMAN system to ensure data for both planned and released work orders, scheduled start or complete dates and routing steps • Interacted with senior management at executive-levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions and customers and ensured schedules and performance requirements were met • Tested and qualifying all the DNA Oligos that were used to performed QC assays • Worked with support group to troubleshoot and provided technical solutions to solve customer issues • Made recommendations for corrective action necessary to assure conformity with quality specifications • Trained collaborators from other companies to create Estrogen project assay using CombiMatrix platform • Oversaw the implementation of new technologies/instrumentation in the QC lab and Research department • Assured proper assay performance through data evaluation and metrics, immediate, effective response to laboratory errors, deviations and investigations • Managed and assisted laboratory QC including equipment calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
