Daily Duties at Mwhs 2, 2d Marine Aircraft Wing:

Lead logistical efforts transporting 236 members and equipment to Iraq. Direct and develop 20 HR employees in the execution of providing outstanding HR personnel services and administrative support to over 750 customers by ensuring/guiding the smooth functioning of the day to day operations of the personnel office in order to achieve timely deliverables and goal attainment. Liaise between executive level managers from separate supported commands, providing answers to HR and personnel administrative questions and adjusting support to fit a variety needs. Prepare and present detailed briefs to executive level managers on a recurring basis. Coordinate and develop a staffing plan for unit deployment during contingency operations in Iraq. Oversee deployment of 236 personnel and equipment to support Operation Iraqi Freedom. Manage and supervise training of the Government Travel Charge Card Program individual card holders. Maintain and oversee the daily operations a trouble desk to identify systematic capabilities and resolve shortfalls; and helping end-users alleviate erroneous entries, accounting errors and postings with the Defense Travel System. Ensure that all new hires and current employees receive required training and mentoring, and performance reviews. Submit and maintain quarterly budget requirements for the personnel office to ensure required inventory of supplies.
