Managed internal and external vendor relations, negotiated service and manufacturing agreements for divisional operations for domestic material requirements. Improve ordering processes for domestic requirements. Helped developed with cross-functional team the ISO processes for the business unit. Trained and supervised development of ISO processes for the purchasing department. Member of a cross-functional team Customs Compliance Committee for company custom controls. Goal to reduce delays in customs and eliminate classification errors on equipment from off-shore. Responsible for the return of rejected equipment to Japan for replacement. Supervised and Trained 3 Buyers and 1 Purchasing Clerk. Number of people supported for the business unit is 300 with annual sales of $500M. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Hands-on team member who excels in dynamic, challenging environment with customer focused attitude. Success in controlling cost and productivity goals. Analyse, evaluate and solve problems. Ability to work unsupervised. Reliability and integrity.
