Manage accounting department and support club manager and department heads in relation to daily accounting functions, financial reports and forecasting & budgeting. Reconcile general ledger & bank statements; prepare journal entries to ensure financials are properly stated; assist corporate controller in accounting closes, reconciling accounts and booking accruals when necessary; assist manager in budget management, forecasting, variance analyses & capital expenditures; assist department heads in understanding & proper execution of financial responsibilitites; self-audits and compliance with GAAP, SOX & company policies; weekly payroll & human resources; supervise accounting assistant to ensure processing of daily sales, accounts receivable, accounts payable & membership.
