Demonstrate high clinical skills with flexibility, pioneering supplemental staffing initiative to -ensure adequate coverage in nursing units including Med/Surg., Progressive Care, CPAT, CCU, Post-Partum and ER. Spearheaded establishment of Critical Decision Unit (CDU), a 10-bed 23 hour unit; enhancing reimbursement. Championed float pool representation on hospital-wide Research and Evidenced-Based committee; bringing research to the bedside. Float pool representative for Palliative care committee, leveraging care management for non-hospice patients with chronic health issues. Presented clinical topics and current trends relevant to ICU patients.
