Daily Duties at No Weight Md:

Establish new weight loss business and bring in patients. Established business by finding optimum location according to need. Conducted market research by identifying other weight loss clinic in the area and making sure there would not be any overlapping or cannablizing our services. Negotiated office lease based on area and the leas of other businesses with similar space. Negotiated start up equipment with vendors to ensure best prices. Purchased and implemented new Electronics Medical Records(EMR) system based on the type of patient data which will be required. Recommended to physican/owner EMR system and implemeted into new business. Website development: research weight clinic websites nationally and developed site based on patient needs and demands. Marketing and Community Outreach: Designed and developed informational brochures. Established membership at 2 local chambers and attended networking meetings and discussed our services and mission statement. Approched local corporations and intriduced our services and recommended including them as part of the health and wellness programs. Approached local legislators to help promote weight loss services to their county employees. Attended chamber dinners and all local netoworking lunches and dinners. Attended 4 large health fairs to introduce our weight loss programs. Pricing: Researched other clinic pricing and engaged with fitness center members to gain feedback on what they found to be affordable for weight loss clinic services. Additionally, met with local medical billing company to understand reimbursement amount for weight loss services. Finalized and implemented pricing. We realized we were successful because our efforts resulted in 10 patients booking appointment in just the first week of operations and the feedback they gave us. We have each new patient do a survey for their feedback and how we can improve. Expense control: we are close to breaking even in just our 4 month.Establish large corporate partners: We have been approcahed by a large local hospital to join with them and be their weight loss clinic.Establishs a referral source - approcahed 2 local physicians whom I knew and agreed to send over patients.
