Daily Duties at Digital Equipment Corp (Dec):
As the DBQM for the Southeast Government Digital Consulting District my direct responsibilities included: ensuring the successful delivery of the District’s software projects and programs; providing business reviews of proposals; scheduling and conducting Program Progress Reviews; providing leadership in developing, implementing, and driving District Quality and Methods Plans; ensuring that Project Practices and Standards were followed, and providing leadership in bringing the District to a Level 2 SEI rating. I was the alternate for the District Manager and managed or worked directly with over 100 delivery specialists, consultants, and project managers. In addition to my role as a DBQM, I continued in my position as a Unit Manager with direct responsibility for growing and maintaining the consulting and solutions business in the North Alabama and Tennessee government geography.
