Daily Duties at United States Air Force:
Hands on, experienced manager with 20+ years U.S. Air Force Client Systems Administrator background. 7 years help desk experience in a 9,000+ military/civilian environment and supervised a team of 10 personnel. Utilized Active Directory to manage domain resources, system administration, user accounts, clients, servers, and applications for creating, modifying and deleting Exchange mailboxes, distribution lists, public folders, and contacts. Maintained inventory and deployed $3.2M in IT/Communications equipment across 3 military installations. Integral part of 7 person team during Windows Vista to Windows 7 migration installing/upgrading software application packages, applying OS patches, re-imaging and deploying to end user(s). Led team in updating of critical information on MS Exchange Global Address List for 9,000 military/civilian users and over 17,000 email accounts meeting suspense three weeks ahead of schedule. Responsible for processing and supporting all requests (moves/adds/changes/deletions) for a large Windows Active Directory environment. Trained 76 records custodians and provided access permission to 412 security groups on the electronic shared drive resulting in the safeguarding of sensitive information.
