Daily Duties at Citi Financial:

As a Programmer / Analyst working over 5 years with data processing experience in application analysis and programming in PL/SQL, SQL and Shell scripting in UNIX platform in the Client Server environment. Experience involves design, enhancement, implementation and support of financial calculation engine with shared memory in a multi-threading environment, where the decision is made whether to approve or reject loan for the Mortgage Company. Involved in coding for Credit Bureau processing and Testing for U.S, Canada and Mexico. Responsible for developing and maintaining scripts that generates reports. Designed and implemented Ad HOC Reports. Designed and coded Reports Generating Tool using UNIX Korn shell scripts to automate reports including data manipulation to update and cleanup the finance database. Duties involves stand-alone and QA testing. Prepared and documented Test specifications with scenarios, to validate the changes, tested and document changes. Analyzed the system requirements, developed detailed test plans, test cases and provided the documentation. Managed the Requirements, Test Plans and Defects. Prepared documented Test specifications, Test Plans and Test Cases to build for the application. Performed Validation testing on the application navigation for various scenarios and reported the errors. Analyzed application performance characteristics by creating various check points. Performed extensive Backend Testing using SQL. Performed User Acceptance Testing. Involved in tracking, reporting, reviewing and analyzing bugs. Analyzed version control, tracked of bugs and clearly documented the exceptions. Compared and analyzed the expected results to the actual results and documented the reports accordingly. Handled system and user defined exceptions. Experience in troubleshooting and resolving end-users technical problems in a multi-user environment.
