Daily Duties at Discovery Channel:
As a Developer / Production Support Specialist my primary responsibilities include designing, coding, testing and implementing back-end developing for crystal report interfaces using Oracle PL/SQL, shell scripts, SQL scripts and troubleshooting database problems. Provided Oracle production support to a team of application developers and end-users. Developed stored procedures, triggers and packages in support of various business applications. Analyzed version control, tracked bugs and clearly documented the exceptions. Created different audits according to the business rules. Modified and wrote scripts to speed up processes and scheduled them with crontab scheduler. Done code migrations and configurations. Monitoring the system by viewing log files.
