Daily Duties at Farmers Insurance:

• Provide HR guidance, counseling, training, leadership development and support to a 900 employee client group (i.e. CA, OR, TX, MI, and IL) reinforcing company policy in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations • Investigate and document employee relation concerns/issues and determine appropriate corrective action by reviewing company policy/guidelines in partnership with my HR manager and Farmers Legal Department • Counsel managers/supervisors about following appropriate employee performance improvement documentation methods • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition/Recruitment division to source and screen qualified candidates for hard to fill positions, and maintain a pool of future applicants to prevent turnover/attrition. • Conduct compensation analysis of potential new hire and internal promotion requests making sure there are no internal equity concerns, and their compa-ratio falls in line with the company’s salary grade/range • Responsible for special HR projects such as RIF (Reduction in Force), change management, team building, rewards/recognition, diversity initiatives, exit interviews, job re-classification, etc.
