Daily Duties at Sra International:

As DLA C&A Support Project Manager provided Information Assurance (IA), Certification and Accreditation (C&A), and system validation services for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). Responsible and accountable for the coordinated management of multiple related projects directed toward strategic business and other organizational objectives. Build credibility, establish rapport, and maintain communication with stakeholders at multiple levels, including those external to the organization. Define and initiate projects, managed cost, schedule, and performance of component projects, while working to ensure the ultimate success and acceptance of the program. Resolved numerous project issues including staffing shortages, tactical matters, scope creep and divergent business and user needs. Briefed Internal Program Review (IPR) status with senior leadership to provide detailed status of DLA C&A support Contract. As Senior Information Security Engineer, managed the preparation and delivery of DIACAP packages, which included System Identification Profile (SIP), DIACAP Implementation Plan (DIP), Plan of Action, and Milestones (POA&M), DIACAP scorecard, System Security Plan (SSP), system diagrams, accreditation boundaries, hardware/software lists, Contingency plans, Memorandums of Understanding/Memorandum of Agreements (MOU/MOA), SOPs, and policies. Lead STIG Compliance Validator for Defense Logistics Agency; responsible for managing STIG compliance testing on Defense Logistics Agency’s Network Devices, VOIP, VTC, Smartphones, Wireless (APs, WIDS), Windows 2003/2008 R2 servers, Unix servers, MS SQL and Oracle databases, IIS and Apache webservers, Windows 7, VISTA, and Windows XP desktops. Train government staff and contractors on the use of DISA STIGs, Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS), Vulnerability Management System (VMS) included IAVA compliance, and DISA Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) tool for hardening their systems.
