Daily Duties at New Sunrise Regional Treatment Center:
Clinical Director for a 21 bed, JCAHO accredited, Federal Substance Abuse Treatment Center, located on the New Mexico Federal Indian reservation. Responsible for training and supervision of chemical dependence counselors, social workers, case managers, and direct care staff. Responsibilities range from daily clinical oversight of individual cases and overall facility operations; including revision of clinical policy and procedures. Clinical duties also include psychotherapy, emergency intervention, admission evaluation, psychometric assessment, discharge summaries and clinical supervision of the APA Clinical Psychology Internship program based at the Albuquerque Veterans Administration.
