Daily Duties at Sacred Heart Hospital:
Circulated all specialty services independently and with competence including: Ears, Nose, and Throat Surgery, Eye Surgery, Podiatry, Gastroenterology Procedures, General Surgery, Gynecology Surgeiy, Lithotripsy, Neurosurgery (Brain, Spinal Cord and Nei-vous System), Oral Facial Surgery, Orthopedic Surgeiy/Total Joints, Pediatric Surgery, Plasric Surgeiy, Trauma Surgery, Urologic Piocedures and Vascular Surgeiy, •Time management in between surgical procedures, decreasing tum-over times in between procedures by 20 minutes. •Problem solving and providing solutions directed towards equipment issues needed for following procedures. •Utilize sound judgment when making decisions, skilled in developing strong rapport with staff members which resulted in increased unit safety and efficiency as well as unit cohesion and loyalty. •Demonstiated professionalism, versatility, and flexibility which leads to sfrong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills. *Goal oriented with a stiong work ethic, personal commitment and integrity. •Mentored 5 Junior Nurses per request. •Supervised a total of 15 surgical technicians.
