Must be able to communicate to senior management what risk issues are and be able to provide them with a plan to minimize risk 5. Mu5t be able to produce 5tatus repm1s regarding the level of risk associated with any given area of the company. 6. Must be able to testify on behalf of the company 7. This position is responsible for the planning and coordinating of various liability and workers compensation immnmce po1ic1e!$ 8. The risk manager files claims with insurance companies for any problems that occur and deal with allocating cost to the insurance policies 9. May be tasked with creating and implementing an employee safety program 10 The risk manager may be responsible for directing the safety and engineering departments to ensure code and safety regulation compliance
