Daily Duties at Gap, Incorporated:

This position was initially structured for two positions: Manager, Expense Payables Reporting & Analytics and Manager, Merchandise Payables Reporting & Analytics. After accepting the Expense Payables position, reorganization took place, resulting with the combined departments. • Lead a team of 4 Senior Financial Analyst level positions. Individual roles include maintaining all Expense Payables data and Merchandise Payables data, reporting and analytics. • Ensure the maintenance and extraction of all electronic Purchase Order activity, Payment detail, Spend detail and Vendor data for records management and reporting abilities. • Responsible for establishing and preparation of reporting for developing and maintaining the department performance dashboard. • Responsible for ensuring accurate delivery of all ad-hoc reporting requests submitted across Gap, Inc. Primary business partners are Legal, Audit, Strategic Sourcing, Brand Finance, Customer Shared Service Center. • Responsible for developing and preparation of Cash Forecast to Treasury for all International and North American bank accounts. • Responsible for Inventory adjustment for estimated final cost to actual final cost, actual custom/duty fees, freight costs and discount recognition. FX gain/loss calculation, ledger adjustments and forecasting • Month-end close responsibility for outstanding payment accruals, right to offset of bank accounts, flux analysis, service provider payments, CIP balance reporting, etc.
