Daily Duties at 878 Aesg/Syl (F 22):
Alternate Mission Equipment (AME) Program Manager managing a budget of over $500M. Conducted quarterly AME Sustainment briefings to the F-22 System Program Director (SPD); briefed current AME Sustainment, Management and Field Support issues. Program Manager (PM) for $5.7M AMRAAM Vertical Ejection Launcher (AVEL) Digital Pressure Sensor (DPS); retrofit resulted in the modification of 306 AVELs enhancing the mission capability of the F-22. Responsible for coordinating with the Financial IPT ensuring the options for the AVEL DPS retrofit were exercised in a timely manner optimizing the use of program funds. Utilized the Comprehensive Cost and Requirement System (CCaR). Reviewed SE/AME task sheets from the Weapons System Support Contractor (WSSC). Developed the first ever Integrated Logistics Support Plan (ILSP) for AME. Plan ensured sustainability and maintainability of AME throughout the lifecycle of the weapon system. Coordinated with Headquarters Air Combat Command (HQ ACC) to optimize AME requirements throughout the fleet. Responsible for integrating requirements between HQ ACC and the WSSC. Responsible for aligning contractor functions with AF and DoD Policy and Directives. Common Support Equipment (CSE) Program manager for the F-22. Responsible for forecasting requirements, establishing budgets, and coordinating with AF Logistics Centers. Provided detailed support equipment procurement strategies, status, and execution reports to meet critical aircraft bed down schedule. Managed over $50M in active appropriation funding; executed approximately $19M annually in new acquisitions. Determined appropriate funding appropriations solutions and initiates multiple format funding documents; MIPR, AF Form 616, AF Form 185 Project Oder, Miscellaneous Obligation Documents (MORD). Prepared acquisition and budgeting strategy, initiates Commitment, Obligations and Expenditure plans in Comprehensive Cost and Requirements System. Tracked and validated all requirements and expenditures associated with Program Government Furnished Property, Support Equipment, aircraft production and repair parts supporting F-22 Production and Sub-vendor Facilities, Combined Test Force, and multiple Active Duty Site Activation locations. Reviewed, evaluated and provided inputs to Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), Contract Change Proposals (CCP), Air Vehicle Acceptance (AVA), Variances, Deficiency Reports (DR), Statements of Work (SOW), Modernization, Spec compliance and Award Fees. Participated in all Site Activation (SATAF) meetings, Equipment Allowance Standards reviews, Support Equipment Program Management Reviews (PMR) and Maintainers Conferences. Evaluated and determined optimal solutions for equipment acquisition strategies. Program Manager for $50M War Reserve Material (WRM) budget. Integrated requirements and budgets into CCaR for out-year requirements. Integral in the F-22 base bed down ensures CSE requirements are established and equipment shipped to operating locations within site activation timelines. Validated requirements and requisitions utilizing DO43 (AF Master Item Identification Database) and HQ AFMC Tracker. Assessed contractors AME requirements for the F-22 Readiness Spares Packages (RSP) supporting contingency and wartime requirements.
