Daily Duties at Aflcmc/Wigl (Global Hawk):

Supervises six personnel for the Capability Support Section; Block 40 spares, Ground and Communication Segments, Fleet Metrics and Reports, Airborne Sense and Avoid, Air Vehicle, and Engine Depot. Oversaw priority EAU-J calibration effort accomplishing contractual effort with the prime contractor in record time. Managing $77M block 40 initial spares buy. Prepares senior level reports and briefings. Completes midterm evaluations, annual employee appraisals, approve/disapproves leave requests, signs timesheets, and other related personnel matters. Knowledge of operations and logistics management program theories, concepts, and practices. Mastery knowledge of strategic planning, long-range planning, and programming within a military environment. Knowledge of business theory, management concepts, and corporate strategy. Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Skilled in making critical independent decisions, presenting and influencing top-level management decisions, and articulating and defending decisions to higher management. Experience in planning, organizing, and directing small group team environments, and to negotiate effectively with management to accept and implement recommendations.
