Daily Duties at Best Buy:

Promoted from GM to Magnolia Market manger supporting 28 store in Northern New Jersey and Upstate NY. This was a new premium audio/ video initiative for Best Buy. My responsibilities included oversight of construction projects throughout market. Assisting stores in talent selection and sales training. creating and maintaining healthy vendor relationships and partnering in specific vendor product trainigings. Ensure store teams achieved sales certifications and vendor certification within given time frame. Regular inspections of store to ensure proper execution of visual merchandising standards. Monitor store performance to budget, provide feedback and recognition. Communicate company initiatives through monthly meetings, weekly conference calls and email. Provide feedback to store teams and DM from completed store inspections. Exceed budgeted sales and margin through execution of premium sales initiatives. Control expenses through proper labor allocation and cost controls. Support store leadership in development of premium sales team. Analyze employee and customer feedback to help develop future programs.
