Daily Duties at Hearst Corporation:
Served as the Lead Database Administrator and Database Manager and responsible for database management tasks, and providing database administration services for the Hearst Corporation’s Web-enabled News Media systems, together with the systems belonging to the Hearst Newspaper properties (Houston Chronicle, San Francisco Chronicle, San Antonio Post, Albany Times Union, etc.). Systems environments include Windows 64-bit, Unix (Solaris), and Linux. Database servers include SQL Server (2008, 2005, and 2000), Oracle 11g R2, 10g, and 9i, and Cache version 2008.2.2.922 running in both OLTP and Data Warehouse environments
