Daily Duties at Xerox Corporation:

ROLE: Program Manager and Application Owner for the Xerox.com site, managing a team of Project Managers / Developers/ Q/A resources, and a number of various 3rd party suppliers and service partners. Direct Reports: 6, Onshore:2, Offshore: 4 Budgets: Initially 4M, reduced to 3M utilizing contracting, cost savings, and efficiencies implemented. Primary Duties Included: Change Agent for consolidation of Infrastructure with emphasis on expense reduction, Financial & Budget Management, Vendor RFP / Contract Negotiations, Team Development / Staff Leadership for Roadmap Development. Successful Measurements included expense management, Project Outlook against actuals on execution of program plan, Requirement Achievement, Level of services to eternal facing to not impact revenue during consolidations. Assignment Detail: entails overarching responsibility for Development, and Operational Support of the Xerox.com Backoffice infrastructure for Xerox Corporation, which has an umbrella of applications all directed at revenue generation for Xerox revenue on multi-million dollar eCommerce platform. Initial responsibly included the application layer rewrite from Broadvision to Java based Linux/Oracle platform with IDM (Identify Management) for transition and re-hosting to internally based data centers. Expanded efforts in current assignment includes global expansion of eCommerce platform with multiple applications in development for implementation from 2011 - 2013. Skills Required: Participate in providing strategic input to other IT departments an as well as VCP business partners. Participate and/or lead planning and improvement projects, including development of standards and best practices. Evaluate delivery partners for new technology products and services; prepare new partners as necessary. Represent Xerox.com function as necessary on project teams and various other policy-establishment and decision-making forums. Plan and oversee implementation of accepted best practices related to external facing application and eCommerice service at a corporate level. Works to provide a standard group of packaged software deployed to Xerox.com suite of applications. Plan and implement additions, retirements, harvesting of hardware and major modifications to the supporting the Xerox.com infrastructure company-wide. Oversee the management of incidents, service tickets, or help desk activities, including policy establishment and compliance management. Proactively collect and analyze service/support data and customer feedback to determine environment / platform changes required. Establish and build relationships with vendors in conjunction with corporate leadership.
