Daily Duties at Otepi Consultores:
Responsible for the supervision and execution of different kind of structural works including substations, industrial buildings, foundations, pipe supports, bridges design, reinforcement of existing structures and other kind of steel structures. Technical coordination of interdisciplinary activities and other project controls for civil engineering. Checking of full compliance of client’s civil specifications. As part of the Company’s Quality Procedures, developing several calculation tools to improve productivities in the foundations design, especially for equipment with dynamic loads. Main projects: • STATOIL Hammerfest Project. Civil-structural leader of the Venezuelan group assigned during six months in the DRAGADOS workshop at Cadiz, Spain, in order to fabricate a floating platform to be installed in front of Norway coast, for a STATOIL LNG Plant. Client: DRAGADOS, Spain. • PDVSA 2001 Projects for Anaco District “Package A”. Basic Engineering of San Joaquin, Santa Rosa and Zapato/Mata-R Gas Plants for Gas Anaco Project, incorporating the modifications to change electrical motors to turbines. Client: PDVSA, Venezuela. • LASMO Dacion Field Development Project Management Contract. EPC project of the two Dacion Fields development. Client: LASMO (current ENI), Venezuela. • SINCOR Upstream Surface Facilities Project. Basic and Detail Engineering of all structures related to the upstream facilities. Client: SINCOR (PDVSA/TOTAL/STATOIL), Venezuela.
