Daily Duties at Otepi Consultores:

Engineering coordination and technical direction of all engineering activities for various projects, including a temporal assignment in Spain. Responsible for engineering deliverables and interdisciplinary activities, as well as full compliance of regulations, technical procedures and client’s specifications. Checking of total alignment of the technical information with all stakeholders and other project controls complying with the scope within the schedule and budget. Integrated management of changes. Support to the Project Manager in developing Project Execution Plan (PEP), Design Basis, Scope of Work, matrix of responsibilities, reporting and presentations to the client. Interface activities with construction groups. Support to Business Development department to complete technical proposals. Development of various procedures as part of the Company’s Quality Procedures. Main projects: • Petroterminal de Panama (PTP), Crude Oil Storage Tanks Expansion Project. Detail Engineering phase of the expansion of two crude oil storage tanks farm in Panama. Objective: To incorporate five new oil storage tanks to each one of the existing facilities located in the Atlantic and Pacific sides of the country. Client: CB&I, USA. • Citgo ULSD Compliance Project. Detail Engineering phase to modify the Lemont and Corpus Christi Refineries. Objective: Modifications to meet the regulations from EPA for Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel. Project executed by Inelectra-Otepi (Venezuela) and Mustang E&C (U.S.A.). Initial cost estimation of the Plant (including Basic Engineering) 750 MM US$. Scope executed in Venezuela: 320,000 man-hours. Client: CITGO-PDVSA, USA. • SINCOR Downstream facilities Upgrade. Detail Engineering Phase for the Areas 3 and 4, Blocks 1 and 2, of the SINCOR Downstream facilities in Jose, Venezuela. Objective: To incorporate modifications during the 2008 Plant Shutdown in order to improve the performance. Client: SINCOR (PDVSA/TOTAL/STATOIL), Venezuela. • SAUDI ARAMCO Hawiyah Gas Plant Expansion (SRU-4). Detail Engineering Phase for the Sulfur Recovery Unit (SRU-4) of Hawiyah Gas Plant in Saudi Arabia. Project executed by Otepi under the supervision of Initec (Spain). Full compliance with all Saudi Aramco’s specifications. The work included a period of three months assigned at Madrid, Spain. Total scope executed in Venezuela: 70,000 man-hours. Client: INITEC, Spain.
