Daily Duties at Topflight Corporation,:
• I performed automated order entry from their EDI system into Oracle. If any date was out of our Manufacturing Range I would have to communicate that to the purchaser in each of their manufacturing plants and coordinate it with them before the next EDI upload. EDI was performed every other day. • Maintaining MRP and producing production logs for 2-4 presses daily and distributed to the support departments in order to have product ready for each run. • Discussed press capacity with Production Manager and made recommendations in order to meet on time deliveries. • Worked with Customer Service in reviewing customer demand. • I monitored the progress of orders from press through shipping in order to achieve on time delivery and work with production lead people to achieve the common goal. • I processed late order reports and graphs to reflect the cyclical nature of the customer vs on time deliveries. Once the art was approved by Estee Lauder in NYC, the initial order was placed. Off the first run I would send samples to the Packager in NYC for their approval. Once approved we could send the first shipment. I had to track this using Excel Spreadsheet to make ensure we maintained their launch date. • Responsible for the purchase and tracking of outside assembly of labels.
