Daily Duties at Lockheed Martin:
I was hired to manage a 61 person security project for NGA. The services were to be provided for a 23 acre facility that contained three Secured Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF). It was to be provided 24 hours a day 7 days a week. What I ended up doing was closing out a 22 year continuous operation when the client changed locations. I would attend our morning management meeting with the client then call my 1st line managers in and go over the plan of the day. That is when I would receive personnel status updates and any foreseeable issues that may occur in the near or far future. I'd also pass them on any updated guidance I received from the management meeting with NGA. The rest of the day would be spent inspecting our site, checking on my personnel to make sure proper security protocol was being followed and the company received an incentive fee if there were no violations. And I would seek out ways to implement process improvement measures to garner further customer satisfaction.
