Daily Duties at Us Army:
Manage a budget of $1.5M+ for all transactions designed for office supplies and equipment, tools, and repair parts; utilizing the guidelines of the command supply discipline program to ensure the distribution of 100% of the assigned funds. Oversee the activities for contracts totaling $1.7M, and over 1,500 Government Purchase Card transactions totaling $1.2M+ for the Supply and Service Section. Administer the expenditure of $2.8M in support of logistical operations across the U.S. for 30 organizations, preparing for mobilization and deployment. Served as project lead and facilitator in the commands annual comprehensive, hands-on logistics workshops for 55 subordinate organizations enhancing the level of proficiency of their logistics personnel. As property Book Officer, was responsible for the logistical readiness for 300+ personnel. Managed a $31M budget for military equipment; including placing orders, receipts, and issuing and storing equipment. Directly supervised a staff of 14 logistics analyst; coordinated 50+ combat logistical resupply operations to subordinate organizations. Managed all transactions for all property as required. Managed a government credit card budget of $150K; issuing, receipts, repair of small arms, and ammunition Review, de-conflict, and coordinated division contingency, campaign, and joint operations plans. Monitored and reviewed incoming directives, policies, and instructions from higher headquarters and parent organization as well as the services. Provided expert information and recommendations to other command elements to support implementation of strategies and plans. Analyzed methods using qualitative and quantitative analysis, to develop and conduct studies and reviews of operational and budget issues. Perform C4ISR systems and products logistics lifecycle program activities from conceptual stage through life cycle of product. Serve as an experienced DoD Acquisition and Logistics product lifecycle manager. Support C4ISR Product Support Manager in development of ILS Baseline (B/L) documentation, develop and maintain relationships with DOD logistics commands, ILS planning, scheduling, and budgeting management. Review existing ILS procedures and revision, development, or implementation of ILS processes, as required, including full Life Cycle Support management, Training Program Management, Bill of Material (BOM) Management Performance Based Logistics Implementation, provisioning and sparing analysis and recommendations, operations and Maintenance (O&M), manual development and management, development and oversight of inventory and distribution concept, and technology refreshment management
