Daily Duties at California Pizza Kitchen:
Organize all new menu rollouts for the region,trained all boy employees and all newagers for the company. Testing all new menu items for the to give feedback on execution and the guest perspective. Adjust pars on new menu items to ensure reliability and consistency. Responsible for Quality Assurance inspections throughout the region. Directly responsible for maintenance and cleanliness of all equipment in the boy. Did all evaluating of all boy staff and the administering of annual appraisals. Responsible as the SKM in a training store, to train new managers during Manager In Training progress. Opened 29 restaurants nation wide and internationally. Did mini portion classes in my region which 4 stores my Regional had me help him with. Did great line check on a regular basis ensure food quality was at it's highest. Did all hiring including all new boh hiring for 3 new restaurants. Did all food purchasing and teaching a supervisor as one my goals. Completed all food and liquor invoicing at the end of each shift.Review P&L with my General Manager to help me reach our financial goals. Was in charge of kitchen manager calls every Monday to discuss SIP. Systems In Place, what can we better as a region for food cost,hourly labor,expectations for line checks and food quality. Became a Regional Kitchen trainer where i had to go to all stores to check on all boh trainers where i had to get them re-certified and certify other cooks in the region Including kitchen managers. Made sure all equipment was up to date and maintained as well as all gaskets where taken care of on a quarterly basis. Creating Checklist and schematics for the line cooks and ensure this system in place for our store well as other restaurants in our region.
