Daily Duties at Xerox Business Services:
Report, consolidate and analyze financial and operational information for IT Outsourcing. Manage a team of 3 direct reports to provide oversight with in-depth analysis for budgeting and forecasting of business unit performance. Oversee preparation of monthly reports and variance analysis for management review. Provide detailed feedback, insight and recommendations to the business on its financial performance, focusing on key drivers. Identify risk and opportunities which could impact performance and make recommendations as necessary. Analyze monthly departmental spending and communicate trends/recommendations to senior management. Collaborate with divisional controllers to set guidelines for financial reporting and provide key support and analyses to senior executives. Work with field controllers and VP of Finance to guide them through the reforecast and budgeting processes by setting out instructions, key milestones and analytical support. Partner with multiple national business units that span the U.S. Directly oversee budgets from 5 business units totalling revenue of $320M and operating expense of $250M. Aid in oversight of budgets from 13 business units totalling revenue of $1.5B and operating expense of $1.3B.
