Daily Duties at Global Com Inc.:
• Installed network infrastructure components, and terminated CAT/6, Fiber Optic, SONET, 200 pairs back bone cable, Telecommunication services to correspond with office relocations and rearrangements. • Diagnose troubleshooting on T-1 circuits, ISDN/PRI, ISDN/BRI, E M TIE, DID, troubleshooting issues. Work with engineering to troubleshooting complex customer issue, troubleshooting connectivity issues to peripheral equipments such as VTCs. Installed Avaya/Cisco voice communication equipments and software. • Install Networking (LAN) and Wide Area Networking (WAN) technologies, terminating and maintaining supporting in Data Center Administration facilities. • Outside plant/Inside Plant Technician installation, removal of rearrangement of outside plant facilities. Connecting wires and cables to terminals and attaching or detaching various kinds of hardware to wire, cables buildings of poles. Place aerial and underground copper/fiber cable, 200 pairs backbone and SONET cables. • Splicing of fiber or copper cable systems as interpreted from engineering work prints. Add, Place, remove, reroute, set up the rack, Fiber/Copper splicing, transfer, repair, rearrange, bond pressurize, underground and buried cable. Mount, cut-in and repair cable terminal.
