Daily Duties at Montgomery County Public Defender's Office:
As an Assistant Public Defender, I am responsible for handling a Judge's docket of Public Defender Clients. This includes arraignment, pre-trials, plea negotiations, hearings such as bench trials, jury trials, preliminary hearings for felony cases, revocation hearings, motion hearings. I represent my clients from their arraignment through the culmination of their cases. In addition, I must review discovery, file and litigate appropriate motions and work closely with the client at all times.
