Daily Duties at Integra Telecom, Inc.:

• Developed and led dozens of successful company training project plans for large scale change initiatives impacting 1000+ employees in 8 different departments with 5+ trainers developing & delivering different customized modules for each work group impacted in alignment with system, process & policy change roll outs and under budget such as: o change from decentralized model to centralized model, o system integration of 10 different acquired companies, o standardization of 7 different local office processes to one company standard set of processes traversing 6 different departments. • Provide direction in alignment with company goals to support a holistic employee development strategy for base of 2,000 employees across 11 states including but not limited to new hire, sales, product certification, technical, soft skills and leadership development • Assess development needs of employees by partnering closely with internal customer leadership, through facilitating weekly management/training team planning meetings with 5+ main departments including: sales, sales support, service delivery, field operations, and network operations, built very successful working relationships with VPs, Directors and Managers in all departments. • Grew Training Department positions from 5 to 17 high performing employees to ensure holistic approach adequately supported • Partner with Human Resources in job description analysis and creation of new positions to meet strategic goals • Direct organizational change initiatives through development of training plans for launches of 2 new products, 2 new IT systems and 1 new process per month impacting 1500+ employees • Responsible for process development & implementation of New Learning Management System - ShareKnowledge • Responsible for development & implementation of Company SharePoint Document Management System • Maintain technical writing standards for all internal communication/documentation • Developed and managed Company $500,000 Training Budget - tracking vendor training purchases, employee development costs for industry certifications, training room equipment, projectors, elearning software and more. • Quarterly Executive Training Reports with ROI and cost/benefit analysis • Employee Surveys Coached and managed performance of 2 training managers and 14 other training department employees including Technical Writer, Document Control Analyst, LMS Adminstrator/Training Coordinator, Technical Trainers, Training Specialists and Technical Product Trainers. Sought out as coach within company by Project Managers, Marketing Specialists, Managers, and Directors. Managed 10+ training & equipment vendor relationships - negotiated contracts, price breaks, free training supporting mutually beneficial relationships Created individualized training department employee development plans that included college certifications, software training and participation in American Society of Training & Development local chapter trainer learning events.
