Daily Duties at Cicb:
Responsible for adding new accounts through prospecting from existing accounts in ACT!, developing targets from research in oil & gas sector, manufacturing, local, State and Federal Government, US Military-all branches including the Army Corps of Engineers. I interview respective buyers all of the world to identify their exact need for OSHA-ASME Compliance. Approximately fifty new accounts have been added to the business portfolio. I sold approximately half of the $2.4M in annual revenue. Strategic positioning of open enrollment classes around the US to maximize enrollment and profitability. Finding and closing sales of NCCCO Certification to companies who have multiple operators to train. Gathering a blanket PO has been a successful strategy in gaining volume business in this area. Cross selling of our inspector, operator, and rigging classes along with inspection services has helped me penetrate existing customers with a greater revenue share. Pricing according to competition and budget of customer or government installation is key to repeatedly closing sales. Selling to the relatively large population of Overhead Crane equipment and the corresponding pool of operators and inspector training has been a volume driver of my business. Working with ensuring that the instructor has the proper scope of training, the printer has the correct funds for books, and the contract correctly reflects the accurate travel costs and revenue targets is part of the customized proposal creation for each sale.
What they like about Cicb:
Working in an organization that is technologically advanced, creative, and innovative is critical in your assessment of hiring companies. Less important to you are stability of the organization, the length of time an organization has been in business, and the business' plans for the future. You prefer a fast-moving company that will take risks to achieve its goals and objectives. The length of time the company has been in business is irrelevant. Maintaining status quo is unnecessary. You thrive on change, uncertainty and the upside of potential business risks, especially those associated with innovation. Stability for the long haul is not nearly as important as is working in an atmosphere that is charged with a sense of urgency and constant change.
