Daily Duties at Dnrec Delaware Coastal Programs:
• Responsible for collection of environmental data sets in littoral zones, throughout the state of Delaware. • Piloted multiple research vessels from 12 to 23 feet in length, as well as acting technician during all benthic-mapping surveys. • Assisted and directed the application and analysis of Sub-bottom profiling using Two Chirp sonar, Rox-Ann acoustic imaging, grab sampling, push -coring, collection and sorting of sediment samples, as well as preparation of samples for laboratory analysis. • Completed QA/QC analysis of data collected during benthic mapping cruises. • Preformed In Situ fieldwork in subsidence rate studies throughout coastal Delaware wetlands.
