Daily Duties at Arete Associates:

• Experienced in “In Situ” field data collections and scientific investigations, test direction, test plan documentation writing, facilitating and execution of multiple field-tests, with various agencies, companies and branches of the military. • Directed and coordinated all facets of field testing of systems for multiple classified and unclassified programs; including design, development, fabrication, installation, operational maintenance and completion of testing and field collections for diverse ISR and SIGINT hardware and software systems. • Performed technical planning, scheduling, system integration and verification, cost and risk analyses, supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems and projects. • Provided logistical, planning and manpower support to field experiments including the writing of test plans, procedural documents, planning and executing experiments, post deployment data analysis and data quality checks. • Establish and maintain direct lines of communication with supporting contractors, agencies and sponsors (NAVY, DARPA, DoD), as well as military and government installations before, during and following program field deployments. • Proficient in deployment support for systems and payload (E/O, IR, Hyper Spectral) demonstration and integration onto manned (medium and high altitude aircraft) and unmanned (Tier II, STUAS) airborne and maritime platforms (UUV, ASW). • Demonstrated ability to work independently and with teams on mechanical, electrical and optical engineering efforts as part of the Rapid Prototype Design, Development and Demonstration Division. • Actively contributed in the SBIR proposal submittal process and discussion groups. • Participated and directed multiple field deployments in littoral and maritime environments during ground truth data collections, in support of experimental and established systems and payloads • Experience in the Environmental Intelligence Group at Arete, with the use of various instruments and software packages for ground truth data gathering for maritime and airborne collections including: INS and IMU sensors, camera payloads, ADCP’s, Towed Arrays, small boat operation, 2-Chrip Sonar, GIS RTK/PPK collection and analysis, ground truth data collections and analysis using various environmental monitoring instruments (Full Weather Stations, ATO measurements, Radiometry sensors), and engineering of system platforms for sensor payloads onboard aircraft and maritime vessels.
