Daily Duties at Rubin, Fortunato & Harbison, P.C.:
Employment law and employment contract practitioner, litigating and counseling employers and individuals, including major Fortune 500 Company in the financial services industry. Review, draft and negotiate hundreds of contracts each year. Provide specialization in trade secret and privacy laws, employment policies, and post-employment obligations, such as confidentiality, non-disclosure, non-solicitation and non-compete, and notice requirements. Conduct risk analysis and counsel employers on risk avoidance techniques. Counsel employers on compliance issues, privacy laws and regulations, internal policies, legal rights and obligations. Provide legal guidance for Company’s strategic decisions regarding hiring employees; respond to post-hire demand letters and property return issues; negotiate promissory note and training cost repayments; supervise employment disputes, trade secret, misappropriation, and restrictive covenant litigation and FINRA arbitrations and injunctive relief actions across the United States.
