Daily Duties at American Cast Iron Pipe Company:
Evaluate overall company operations and implement changes as required for strategic planning, accounting, finance, treasury management, risk and insurance management, employee benefits, administration and credit management. Cultivate and manage corporate treasury relationships with 5 key U.S. financial institutions. Determine capital requirements and funding sources in conjunction with strategic planning, prepare cash flow projections and budgeting. Direct risk management function and policy. Administer employee benefit plans (5 defined benefit pension plans, 9 defined contribution plans, $650M combined assets) in collaboration with consultants/technical experts for legal, medical, actuarial, accounting and financial aspects; manage financing, cost control, employee communication and regulatory compliance. Lead credit department in development, implementation and evaluation of credit policies/procedures. Analyze potential merger/acquisition and business expansion targets, conducting due diligence and providing recommendations. Supervise team of 30 direct reports, including department heads for Credit/Risk Management, Benefits, Treasury and Accounting.
