Daily Duties at Vetstreet, Inc. (A Vca Division):

• Responsible for all IT related items with in the Vetstreet company with in the VCA enterprise. Includes, application development, CRM (Siebel and Salesforce.com), help desk services, call center technologies, infrastructure, operations, and production systems support. • Represent the technology needs and interests of the various groups as a member of the Vetstreet Senior Management team. o Responsible for developing IT strategies to achieve organizational goals, and adapting strategy to changing conditions. o Established a project management organization to effectively plan, prioritize, and manage the delivery of IT projects. o Responsible for all IT operational, development, and support resources and budgets associated with area of responsibility.  Responsible for creating and working within approved budget  Oversees technology resources against client timelines and expectations.  Develop and implement cost saving measures  Manage 4 department heads with 39 full time employees and up to 60 contractors. o Key team member during merger negotiations and transition from Vetstreet to VCA. o Responsible for migrating technical and business platforms to VCA. Completed data center, applications, back office, desktop, financial, and HR system migrations. • Serving as a corporate enterprise-wide architect for projects that are cross-product infrastructure and/or new, complex products. Provide architectural oversight for other products and projects where necessary. • Spearheads from a corporate IT perspective the planning, execution, and maintenance of the Company’s disaster recovery plans as it concerns IT areas. • Responsible for developing consistent, repeatable and successful set of “best practices” for all technologies implemented to ensure that Regulatory / Compliance standards (i.e. – SOX, Credit Card Compliance (PCI), Financial / SAS 70) are integrated, executed, and maintained. • Responsible for establishing and maintaining vender relationships and coordinates with vendors to achieve cost-effective solutions. • Responsible for leading guiding and motivating technology teams to provide a positive work environment and high-quality products for clients and partners.
