Daily Duties at Oakbend Medical Center:

• Manage organization’s weekly and bi-weekly payroll for approximately 200 + employees • Manage recruitment of agency nurses, nurse aides, surgical technicians and other staff needed for organization • Assist with EIB, PTO, FMLA, and W/Comp • Assist with personnel action forms • Negotiated new agency contracts • Handled orientation classes for agency staff • Initiate contact with possible qualified candidates for specific job openings • Schedule and coordinate the interview process for possible qualified candidates • Assist with credentialing nursing and agency staff • Maintain confidential employee and agency files • Investigate issues and complaints received by Physicians, staff, and patients • Serve as link between Directors and employees • Assumes responsibility as the hospital representative in dealing with patient transfers • Provides support/supervision in the absence of hospital administration • Explain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants. • Manage statistical reports, statements, and summaries related to payroll accounts, and submit them to appropriate departments. • Manger difficult staffing duties, including dealing with understaffing by using creative ideas • Assist Directors with co-management of quarterly budget • Assists in the development and implementation of department goals, objectives, and strategies • Organize company events, activities, and special projects • Manage patient bed control and transfers for organization
