Daily Duties at Memorial Health University Medical Center:

Managed all medical equipment maintenance contracts, Time and Material services for a 610 Bed, Tertiary Care, Level One Trauma and Teaching University Hospital. Responsible for distribution and spending discipline of a 4.2 million dollar annual maintenance budget; Oversee maintenance support on five (5) fleets of Imaging Diagnostic Modalities; Surgical OR; Clinical Laboratory; GIDU; Research Center and Oncology radiation equipment valued over fifty million dollars; Ensure all services are performed timely and to customer satisfaction; Negotiates, approve, award all maintenance contracts and authorize payment; Provides Leadership with analysis of equipment performance, maintenance activity and recommendations for priority capital replacement; Perform duties as Project Manager for medical equipment installs and removals; dispose of excess property by selling, trade-in and donations. Trend maintenance activity and recommend user level training; Seek no-cost training opportunities for Biomedical technicians on front end of contract negotiations.
