Directed all accounting and financial reporting functions for the Southeast Region of Hines, then comprised of ten commercial office buildings (both under development and completed) and three land developments worth over $1 billion; prepared annual budget for the Region with over $9 million in annual revenues; updated quarterly the annual forecast for the Region and prepared variance explanations compared to budget; prepared quarterly financial reports detailing actual results for the Region and prepared explanations for variances vs budget; prepared and assisted in presenting the annual Regional presentation to Hines ownership, presented each November and showing actual results for current year and forecast for the next four years; supervised the heads of HR and IT; promoted to assume controllership oversight of the new Hines South America office in Sao Paulo, Brazil, which fell into the Southeast Region portfolio; prepared extensive financial modeling and investment memoranda for both building and land acquisition targets; prepared financial modeling and feasibility analyses for potential new building and land developments; assisted in raising capital for developments and acquisitions through financial modeling, analysis and sourcing.
