Daily Duties at Rrd / Bowne & Co.:

• Create budget and forecast for six business platforms. • Accountable for overseeing all financial aspects of multiple production facilities which would include AP, PO,AR, FA, GL • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close and submission of the P&L, BS and required schedules to corporate finance. • Review and approve all balance sheet account reconciliations. • Responsible for inventory control and valuations. • Provide weekly and monthly financial analysis and operating metrics to the management team. • Perform cost variance analysis and established standard cost. • Provide decision support on capital investment for improvements, replacements and maintenance. • Assist VP of Operations with developing production metrics. • Support and assist internal department requirements such as audits schedules, tax schedules and others • Ensured compliance of financial procedures with GAAP • Ensured appropriate risk and mitigation controls as part of authoring and reviewing SOX process narratives
